PETITION: “United States of America Continuity of Citizenship” (USACC)

Those who hold ‘dual citizenship’ may not serve at the pleasure of the American people in any State or Federal capacity. The Holy Bible states in Matthew 6:24:

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon [Satan].”

A foreign citizen cannot serve the best interests of the people of the United States, while at the same time appealing to the aspirations of another nation’s people. Consider the ramifications of a U.S. citizen being recruited to fight for an American enemy, an act of treason and punishable by death. All U.S. passports advise citizens, “may lose your U.S. citizenship” by “serving in the armed forces of a foreign state.” However, in 1967, in the case Afroyim v. Rusk, the Supreme Court ruled that under the 14th amendment, U.S. citizens cannot be involuntarily stripped of their citizenship. That case involved a dual U.S.-Israeli citizen who had his U.S. citizenship revoked after voting in

an Israeli election, and currently this unconstitutional precedent applies to military service as well.

According to the U.S. code: Title 18, any citizen who:

“enlists or enters himself, or hires or retains another to enlist or enter himself, or to go beyond the jurisdiction of the United States with intent to be enlisted or entered in the service of any foreign prince, state, colony, district, or people as a soldier or as a marine or seaman … shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.”

First President of the United States of America, George Washington, warned against the inherent failure of the aforementioned stating:
“A passionate attachment of one nation for another produces a variety of evils. Sympathy for the favorite nation, facilitating the illusion of an imaginary common interest in cases where no real common interest exists, and infusing into one nation the enmities of the other, betrays the former into a participation in the quarrels and wars of the latter without justification. It leads also to concessions to the favorite nation of privileges denied to others which is apt doubly to injure the nation making the concessions; by unnecessarily parting with what ought to have been retained, and by exciting jealousy, ill-will, and a disposition to retaliate, in the parties from whom equal privileges are withheld. And it gives to ambitious, corrupted, or deluded citizens who devote themselves to the favorite nation, facility to betray or sacrifice the interests of their own country, without odium, sometimes even with popularity; gilding, with the appearances of a virtuous sense of obligation, a commendable deference for public opinion, or a laudable zeal for public good, the foolish compliances of ambition, corruption, or infatuation.” – President George Washington

Consider the fact that currently a U.S.-Israeli dual citizen can serve in U.S. Congress, however, Israel does not allow that same individual serve in Israel’s Knesset. To understand how dangerous this situation is for the American people, please read Oded Yinon’s “A Strategy for Israel in the Nineteen Eighties” then consider The “Lawrence Franklin espionage scandal” (also known as the AIPAC espionage scandal). This refers to Lawrence Franklin’s scandal of passing classified documents regarding United States policy towards Iran to Israel through American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). Franklin, a former United States Department of Defense employee, pleaded guilty to several espionage-related charges and was sentenced in January 2006 to nearly 13 years of prison, which was later reduced to ten months house arrest. Franklin passed information to AIPAC policy director Steven Rosen and AIPAC senior Iran analyst Keith Weissman, who later were fired by AIPAC. They were later indicted for illegally conspiring to gather and disclose classified national security information to Israel.

On June 11, prosecutors asked Judge Ellis to reduce Franklin’s sentence to eight years for his cooperation. Judge Ellis said the dropping of the case against Rosen and Weissman was a “significant” factor in the sentencing of Franklin and sentenced him to ten months house arrest along with 100 hours of community service. Ellis said Franklin’s community service should consist of “speaking to young people about the importance of public officials obeying the law”.

Readers of this petition should also consider the case of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg. Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were dual U.S.-Israeli citizens who were executed on June 19, 1953 after being convicted of committing espionage for the Soviet Union. They were accused of transmitting nuclear weapon designs to the Soviet Union; at that time the United States was the only country with nuclear weapons. They were also accused of providing top-secret information about radar, sonar, and jet propulsion engines to the USSR.
In 2014, there were 40 US-Israeli dual citizens serving in Congress. Members in U.S. politics who hold dual U.S.-Israeli citizenship include:
